The ranch is situated in the settlement Svarin, local part Kráľova Lehota. It was founded in the 14th century. This local part is the gate into the Svarin valley, the longest valley of the Low Tatras (35 km). Cierny (Black) Vah is flowing trough it. This river springs under Kráľova Hola (1946 m above sea level). The settlement is known for the highest repumping water electrical plant in Slovakia. Its upper concrete reservoir is made in the karst plateau Vyšné Sokoly (1150 m above sea level). Water goes from the lower reservoir into the upper reservoir with the altitude 445 m. Beautiful view from this plateau attracts every tourist. The Svarin valley along with side valleys is the part of the Low Tatras National Park. For its esthetic value and wide availability of sports and cultural activities it is visited by tourists who want to relax actively in the mountains.
